The Truvia Vault holds the money.
Every contract on Truvia funds into a dedicated vault. Funds stay locked, segregated, and visible until both parties confirm the agreed conditions are met. No shortcuts, no silent release, no surprises.
Segregated. Locked. Visible. On the record.
Every Truvia contract has its own vault. When the paying party transfers funds, Truvia confirms receipt and moves the money into that contract's vault where it stays locked until the applicable release conditions are met.
The recipient can see the funds on their dashboard. They just cannot withdraw them until the contract says so. That is what makes the vault a trust layer instead of a wallet.
What makes the vault different.
The vault is more than storage. It is the trust layer that keeps both parties honest, visible, and protected.
Locked on arrival
The moment funds land in the vault, they become unavailable for withdrawal. The recipient sees them but cannot touch them until release is confirmed.
Segregated per contract
Every contract gets its own vault. One contract's funds cannot be touched or mixed with another. Clean, ring fenced, and easy to audit.
Dual confirmation release
Both parties must confirm that the contract is fulfilled before the vault unlocks. No unilateral release. No silent release.
Three hour disputes
If something goes wrong, a dispute can be raised directly from the contract. The vault stays locked while the review is in progress, and findings are issued same day.
Full audit trail
Every deposit, every milestone, every update, and every release is timestamped and tied to the contract. Both parties see the same record.
Any Nigerian bank
When the vault unlocks, funds can be withdrawn to any eligible Nigerian bank account. No detours, no third party wallets.
Five steps from funding to release.
The vault sits at the centre of every contract. Here is exactly how money moves through it.
-
01
The Payer Transfers into the Vault
Once both parties agree on the contract terms, the paying party transfers the agreed amount using the dedicated bank details Truvia provides for that contract. Funds go directly into the contract's vault, not into Truvia's operating account.
Each contract has its own reference, so there is no confusion about which vault a payment belongs to.
Dedicated account per contract. No shared pool, no messy reconciliation. -
02
Funds Lock on Arrival
As soon as Truvia confirms receipt, the funds are marked as locked inside the vault. They appear on the recipient's dashboard, but they cannot be withdrawn.
The recipient cannot spend, move, or access the funds simply because the money has arrived. Only the applicable release conditions can unlock them.
- Visible on the recipient's dashboard
- Impossible to withdraw until release
- Separate from Truvia operating funds

03
Milestones Are Tracked Against the Contract
As the recipient delivers against agreed milestones, they upload evidence directly into the contract. A designer uploads screenshots. A seller uploads packaging photos. A developer uploads documents. A crypto trader confirms on chain.
Each milestone has its own progress state, and the vault reflects that progress without ever unlocking the funds early.

04
Both Parties Confirm Completion
When the product has been delivered or the service has been completed, the responsible party marks the contract as fulfilled. The other party then reviews the delivery against the agreed contract.
If everything matches, they confirm acceptance. The vault only unlocks when the applicable release conditions are satisfied. A single confirmation is not enough.

Recipient Withdraws to Any Nigerian Bank
Once the vault unlocks, the recipient can withdraw the funds to any eligible Nigerian bank account. Transfers are processed within the standard banking window, usually the same day for major banks.
Truvia records the contract as successfully completed, and the vault closes on the record.
