Truvia

Disputes resolve in three hours.

If a delivery or service falls short of the agreed contract, either party can open a dispute. Truvia's dispute team reviews the contract, the evidence, and the milestone record, then issues a finding the same day. No limbo, no silence, no stalled deals.

Contract based. Evidence driven. Same day resolution.

A dispute is not a debate. It is a review against the terms both parties agreed to when the contract was created. That is what makes Truvia's three hour resolution possible.

Every contract carries its own milestones, deadlines, and proof requirements. When a dispute is raised, Truvia's team reads the contract, reviews the milestone record, and issues a finding against the agreed terms. No opinions, no guesswork.

Five steps. One documented outcome.

From the moment a dispute is opened to the moment a finding is issued, every action is logged, timestamped, and tied to the contract.

  1. 01

Open a Dispute from the Contract

If a delivery, service, or milestone does not meet the agreed terms, the receiving party taps Open Dispute on the active contract. No forms to chase, no external emails, no waiting on support tickets.

The other party is notified immediately, and the contract pauses. Funds stay locked in the Truvia Vault for the entire duration of the review.

One tap opens a ticket. Both parties and the dispute team see the same thread, in real time.
  2. 02

    Both Sides Present Their Evidence

Each party uploads evidence directly into the dispute thread: screenshots, chat records, documents, pictures, videos, or anything else that speaks to the milestone in question. The contract, milestone record, and previous updates are already in the file.

No email chains, no screenshots lost in a chat. Everything is timestamped and tied to the contract.

    • Upload files, images, and links
    • Add context notes for the dispute team
    • Every upload is timestamped automatically
  3. 03

    Truvia Reviews Against the Contract

Truvia's dispute team reads the contract, compares the delivery or service against the agreed milestones and deadlines, and weighs the evidence submitted by both parties. The review is contract based, not opinion based.

If a milestone was clearly met, that is reflected. If a milestone was clearly missed, that is reflected too. Partial completion is assessed on the same terms.

The contract is the reference. Not chat history, not social proof, not opinion.
  4. 04

    A Finding Is Issued

The dispute team issues a written finding against the contract, stating what was met, what was not met, and how the funds should be handled. Both parties see the same finding at the same time.

Where a contract breach is confirmed, the applicable breach fee under Truvia's published terms is applied to the relevant side.

Written, timestamped, and tied to the contract. No verbal agreements, no side channels.
  5. 05

    Funds Are Released or Returned

Once the finding is confirmed, the vault unlocks only to the extent the finding allows. Completed milestones are settled to the recipient, remaining eligible funds are returned to the payer, and the contract is closed on the record.

Every step is logged so both parties have a complete record of how the dispute was resolved.

No funds move without a documented basis.Every settlement is tied to the finding, not to who asked louder.

What can be disputed.

Disputes can be raised on any contract, for any milestone, at any point before the final release. These are the most common categories.

Non delivery

The product, service, or file was not delivered within the agreed deadline or at all.

Delivery mismatch

The delivery arrived, but it does not match the description, specification, or milestone in the contract.

Deadline breach

A milestone was delivered late against an agreed deadline that the contract states as binding.

Communication breakdown

One party stopped responding to milestone queries, updates, or requests for clarification.

Unauthorised release attempt

A party attempted to trigger a release without meeting the applicable conditions in the contract.

Requested cancellation

One party wants to cancel or renegotiate before completion. Cancellations require mutual agreement under the contract.

Three documented outcomes.

Every dispute ends in one of three ways, always tied to the contract and always visible to both parties.

Full release

The delivery or service is confirmed against the contract. The vault unlocks in full and the recipient can withdraw to an eligible Nigerian bank account.

Partial settlement

Some milestones were met, others were not. Completed milestones settle to the recipient, and remaining eligible funds return to the payer's Truvia Vault.

Refund to payer

The milestone was not met and no partial delivery was accepted. The full eligible amount returns to the payer's Truvia Vault under the agreed terms.

Not sure whether your case is disputable?

Open the contract and tap dispute. The dispute team will review it against the agreed terms and tell you, in writing, on the same day.

Transparent fees on breach.

No charge for raising a dispute. A breach fee applies only where a contract breach is confirmed.

2.5% of the amount involved

A contract breach attracts a fee of 2.5% of the amount involved, in accordance with Truvia's applicable fee rules. The fee is applied to the relevant breach as specified in the contract and Truvia's published terms.

Where a settlement involves partial completion, the fee is calculated on the amount that was breached, not on the total contract value.

2.5% Applied only on confirmed breach
No fee for opening a dispute. No fee for mutual cancellation. No hidden charges.
Written into the contract. The applicable fee is visible to both parties before any funding takes place.
